Good to know

  • The real test is on a computer at a test centre, in one day. No calculator and no dictionary. You do your working on paper.
  • One Reading question type compares two short texts on the same theme. Pack 1 has one of those.
  • The Writing part is one typed task. Pack 1 does not include it yet.

An honest note

Pack 1 is a short taster, not a full mock test. The real test has many more questions, and its Thinking Skills part uses lots of pictures. Ours are words only for now. Your score here is just a practice score. It does not predict a placement result. More packs are planned.

Student Tests is an independent practice site. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the NSW Department of Education. Our questions are original, written in the style of the placement tests. They are not official questions and do not predict a placement outcome.
